Hours
Basic hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm but please mention if you need a bit of flexibility around these hours and I can try to accommodate them.
The dayhome is closed on statutory holidays including:
New Year's Day (January)
Family Day (February)
Good Friday
Easter Monday
Victoria Day (May)
Canada Day (July)
Heritage Day (August)
Labor Day (September)
Thanksgiving Day (October)
Remembrance Day (November)
Christmas and Boxing Day (December)
If a stat holiday falls on a weekend, I will take a day off in lieu.
Rates
Full-time $700 per month
Part-time $40 per day
Drop-In spaces are subject to availability $40 (no receipt)
Fees are due by the 1st of each month for which care will be given.
Due to limited spaces available, monthly payments are based on using or holding your child’s spot, not on your child’s attendance. No refunds will be given for late arrivals/early departures, parental vacations or exclusion to illness. You must pay for your child’s scheduled time – regardless of whether or not your child is here. Those days and times are reserved for your child.
A deposit is required, equal to 2 weeks care, which will be applied to the last days of care. A receipt will be issued. This is to protect me as the provider in the case of unexpected departures, or non payment. A space is not considered held until all forms are returned with the non refundable deposit.
If there is an immediate opening available, but care is needed at a later date, there will be a holding fee to ensure the opening will be filled. For example, if the opening is available as of Janurary 1st, but care is needed for February 1st, a non-refundable holding fee of $350.00 will apply for each month the spot is held. A receipt will be issued. If for any reason, you don't take the opening, the holding fee is not refunded. I would have likely filled that opening with another child had it not been held. If circumstances arise that I am no longer able to provide care, the parents will be reimbursed for the full amount paid and given as much notice as possible.
